Global Citizenship: Encounters during the UNESCO Project Week
Also as part of the UNESCO project week and the street festival on the topic Global Citizenship Ben had the opportunity to personally report on our work in Ghana. It was particularly important to him to personally thank the parents, teachers, and children for their extraordinary commitment. These encounters have once again demonstrated the value of international school partnerships. They make global connections tangible, foster mutual understanding, and show young people that their own actions can truly make a difference.
We are incredibly grateful for the long-standing and trusting collaboration with this wonderful school. The openness, commitment, and diverse opportunities that the school community offers us are invaluable to our work.

Special thanks are also due to the headmaster, Thorsten Breuer, who took a lot of time to show Ben and Thomas around the school and explain the special features of everyday school life to them.
An exceptionally intensive exchange developed between the two school principals. For several hours they discussed the different challenges facing their schools, pedagogical approaches, and the respective framework conditions in Germany and Ghana.
Despite all the differences, it became clear how many common goals unite them: to provide children with a good education, individual support and a positive future perspective.
