A visit that connects people and opens new doors

Ben's visit reminded us once again how important personal encounters are for our work. Being together in Hamburg again after ten years, deepening existing partnerships and forging new connections was very special for us.

It was particularly moving to personally introduce Ben to the people and institutions that have accompanied and supported our work in Ghana for many years. Behind every donation, every sponsored run, and every joint initiative are people whose commitment makes a real difference.

At the same time, the numerous discussions have shown that our work goes far beyond supporting a school in Ghana. It's about mutual learning, intercultural exchange, educational equity, and connecting people across national borders.

The encounters with the Arnkielstraße primary school, Engineers Without Borders, the University of Hamburg and BOLDLY, as well as the newly established contacts with the Hamburg school authority, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the Hamburg Ambassador for Ghana, show the potential that arises when committed people from different fields come together and develop new ideas.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the people and institutions who made this special visit possible, accompanied it, and brought it to life.

We look forward to further developing the ideas that have emerged, strengthening existing partnerships and jointly building new bridges between Hamburg and Ghana.
