Playground

When we first looked at this topic, it was based on comparisons with other schools: What can we offer that is relatively easy to implement and still very effective? The answer as to why you come to a play area is simple: most parents in the area are already unable to enable their children to attend school. On the one hand because they have no work, but mostly also because they have to look after their children and cannot go to work much. We would like the children to come to our school to spend their free time there instead of on the street. The parents are relieved, especially during the holiday season (about 11 weeks a year); furthermore, the volunteers who are in Ghana during this time have something to do at the same time and the children have social contacts. All in all a good investment.
