A special moment for our school

With great joy and gratitude, we were able to celebrate an important milestone at our school in Ghana: the official opening of our new dining room.

The new room is deliberately located somewhat away from the classrooms – a place where the children can relax, eat together, and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. Bright, spacious, and furnished with benches, it now offers all students ample room to enjoy their meals together. Of course, something very special was cooked for the opening – a celebration that everyone will remember for a long time.

There's also good news from our team: We're continuing to grow!
We are delighted to welcome Aysel as a dedicated supporter. Her first visit impressed her so much that she wants to actively contribute in the future. With her attention to detail and her strong commitment, she will be a valuable asset to our team. Welcome!

Another project close to our hearts connects our school in Ghana with our partner school in Germany, the Arnkiel Elementary School: a joint art project. The children in Germany started pictures with animal motifs – and our students in Ghana creatively completed them. Each picture bears the names and classes of the participating children. Tommy has now brought the finished artwork back to Germany and will soon hand it over. A wonderful creative dialogue between the children, which we hope to further develop in the future.

Our next major goal is already in focus: the purchase of another school bus. Our current bus is overcrowded – we want to enable more children to get to school safely and significantly improve the situation.
